- Be tactful – Be clever to approach somebody when online.Try to find out their favourite sports,food or anything.Then they will follow you on lead.This way will also make them interested in making friends with you.This way is also a clever way to stop the person from sending you bad/naughty mails.
- Bite your tongue – Never post in anger.You may regrade of what you type.People will think your bad or else they will then stop making friends with you if you are their friends. We must never ever ever type in anger.Even if you say sorry it will be too late.
- Don’t use all uppercase - It means don’t type all your words in capital letter.It is rude.Example like:APPLE. We must not do that.We can only write capital letter when starting a sentence,typing a countries name or anything else.It also means you are screaming!!
- Mind your language - It means don’t be rude.When we are typing we must not use bad words.That person will think that we are bad or naughty.We must use polite and kind words to talk to them so that they will maybe respect us.If that person is your friend, they will not be friend with you.
- Watch your words – Watch your words also means don’t be rude.We must never type bad things about them.It will make the person feel down and sad.We have to reply in kind words.
- Respect confidently – Don’t post e-mail you have receive from someone else without their concern.Apart from being rude it may be an illegal breach of confident.It can be virus too.We must never open message or e-mail from strange people.Only open to those you know.
- Keep it simple – Don’t use all difficult words. Always use simple language.Your e-mail must short and clear.Avoid too many smiles(picture icon).Maybe some people will not understand you.They may not know if your sad,happy or angry.It may also be impolite.
- Don’t be a grammar pedant – Don’t mind about your grammar too much.Some people makes grammar mistake and spelling mistake.Don’t correct them.It will make them sad or desperate.It will spoil your friendship.At least you understand then it is ok.
- Use plain text – Means write in normal text.Most people don’t understand.HTML can only be understand by some people.We must never use HTML.If that person does not understand,he/she will be wondering what you are typing.Just write the message short and simple.Then the person will understand.
- Warn it you might spoil a surprise - If you know something that is going to happen, you can warn the person, but don’t give the wrong message. You must be confident before telling somebody.If you are not confident, then don’t tell.If you tell a person the wrong message, they’ll think you are bad.Make sure the message is true, then only you tell.
- FLAME THROWERS – Those who are writing bad about themselves when online.Some people cannot stand their language.It is also being called”FLAME WAR.”This will make their icons and other peoples icon freeze.This is also being called insulting ourselves.The flame throwers will be writing bad about themselves and their language will be very very bad and rude.If they are being caught they will be forbidden to chat online such as Yahoo,MSN and other chatting website.When people look at their message,they will be shock to look at it.This will make you think the person is bad and will not make friends with them anymore(or look at their message.)In this case,if you see message like this, do not chat with the person.’REMEMBER’ this message.
- Net Language:A Dictionary – Net language means short form.Last time before there were computers,people used to write in post(means post letter.)This will take a few days for the letters to be delivered.But now everybody also use INTERNET……our modern technology service.This save plenty of time.Some of them are CYC : See ya,SOE : Soon on later,OIC : Oh I see,AFAIK : As far as I know,BBL : Be back later,POV : Point of view,TQ : Thank you,4M : From,F2F : Face to face and a lot more.We can use net language on those who know and understand.But mostly now a days…….people know what it means.Using net language can save plenty of our time and energy to type.If you want to know if the person understand or not…………just ask him/her if they understand or not.If they don’t………we can help by teaching them so it save their time and energy.It also means that whenever we want to send a message to them……..just use net language because you know that person understand.
- Never post ads – If we put bad advertisement……it must be written from older people.If we do any advertisement on mail…….we must state the age limit.It must be written in a decent way.Such as movies and cartoons……they state the age limit so we will know what age to what age can watch the cartoon or movie.We should be careful when posting ads.If some people don’t have an e-mail account…….they will go into other people’s account…and then post the ads.They may also post with pictures.If we post bad mails to children….we(the person who send the bad mails to children)will receive mails from other people….complaining.But better never send bad mails to other people…..especially children(even to adults.)It will be a disgrace to us.
